Hi,
I show this as a Murray/Scotts made for Home Depot in the Canadian market. Parts breakdown is here:
http://www.outdoordistributors.com/pdf/Murray/MURRAY-MODEL-621453X31NC-SINGLE-STAGE-SNOW-THROWER-(2004)-PARTS-LIST.pdf
Owners manual not found.
You say it is fresh mix, but was it dumped of bad mix? Is it a float or diaphragm carb? Any numbers or such on engine?
Peace,
Clarke

The tank was drained and the mix was completely fresh. Carb is a float carb and I cleaned it out as it was plugged. What numbers do you want the ones for the blower or the motor

OK so I'm still having troubles with the motor. I have tried priming the motor by putting a little bit of fuel into the cylinder but it still won't start. It seems to be flooding the engine and the carb as fuel is spitting out the end of it. One pull on the cord and it seems to flood it. I have adjusted the float and cleaned the carb. It has compression which I have check by plaacing my finger over the sparkplug hole while pulling the cord. Any ideas what I can do next?

The fuel valve is sticking in the carb. You may have to dissassemble and clean.

-or-

You can try a small amount of gas mixed with Seafoam carb cleaner after draining the tank.

FYI:
You can use spray carb cleaner as starting fluid. DO NOT use starting fluid. Gas is Ok, but carb cleaner is better.

You need to use fuel stabilizer like Sta-bil. 20/20 hindsight.

OK where abouts is the fuel valve in the carb

Hi,
I might point out that the manuals tell you that there is a correct direction for the pointed end of that wire on the inlet needle. It must point toward the air cleaner/air intake.

Carb breakdown:

Go here: Small Engine Specialists | Ariens OEM Parts | Briggs & Stratton OEM Parts | Cub Cadet OEM Parts | Echo OEM Parts | eXmark OEM Parts | Honda Engines OEM Parts | Honda Power Equipment OEM Parts | Husqvarna Power Equipment OEM Parts | Hustler Turf OEM P (http://www.smallenginespecialists.com/pages/parts/viewbybrand/91/TecumsehPowerCompany.aspx)

Use 640300 as p/n for the Tecumseh carb and then click on the view ICON on the full right for a carb breakdown.

Fuel needle is #30 on first carb line.

Then engine is there also, but not the SPEC number

Do you think there is anything else that might cause it to not start
