How long have you been trying to have a baby. I would say if it has been for a year or more than maybe yes but if not keep on trying. After you make love and he ejaculates into you, lift you pelvis up in the air for about a minute. That might help.

Hi I wanted to reply to the person who said they have sex during her ovluation time and didn't get pegnant. Well my husband and I have been trying for 2 years now and we went to the dr to see if we can get any type of med to help us but we went to him before a year and he would not give us anything to after a year of trying. So thought I would share that with you. But now we have been trying for 2 years now we just been moving so haven't had a chance to go to the dr. :(

Hi I don't think you should try fertility drugs. Unless you have been trying for over a year to get pregnant. Even then I would consult my doctor or fertility specialist to get all the answers first. It is not easy to get pregnant there are a number of factors involved in this process. Also fertility drugs tend to have a big effect on your body. They can also result in pregnancy being a multiple birth. How long have you been trying. Personally I think whoever said it couldn't hurt to take these drugs is crazy. They are there for people who have trouble conceiving not for someone who after one try decide they just might need them.

Even if you know when you are ovulating and you have intercourse during that time, its not a given that you will get pregnant. At least not right away. Most doctors prefer that you have been trying unsuccessfully for over a year, before giving you fertility drugs. They will also likely want to check both you and your husband out, to make sure that the problems don't lie deeper.(such as low sperm count on his side, or blocked tubes on yours, etc.) there are many reasons you haven't conceived yet, and not all of them meaning there is something wrong. It takes quite a bit of luck to get that sperm, into that egg at the right time in the right circumstances. Sometimes it just takes time.

I hope the doctors can give you some insight of what's going on emmacelyn, and how best to help. I know its frustrating. It drove me crazy just having to wait a year. Good luck to you, and I hope all works out soon. Let us know what the docs say.
