In July, we had a new tub and fixtures installed in our bathroom. A few weeks ago, the handle that diverts the water from the tub spout to the shower head started sticking and got very hard to turn. Then, even when we could get it to turn, no water came out of the shower head. A plumber came out and looked at it, and said he couldn't see why it was happening, but he took it apart and put it back together and the water came out of the shower head again. However, since he did whatever he did, the water won't stay hot when coming out of the shower head. The hot water lasts for about ten minutes, and then starts getting colder and colder. Any ideas what may be causing this and how to fix it? Thanks!

How is the hot water in the other sinks?

The hot water is really hot in the kitchen; it is practically boiling as soon as you turn it towards hot without needing any heating up time. In the bathrooms, the hot water takes about 20 to 30 seconds to heat up, but then it is boiling hot and stays that way.
