Hi.
Would this be romantic?
So I have a limited budget. Going to buy Hessian. You know this stuff http://www.plasticandhessian.co.za/Format/hessian10oz.JPG
Then I will create a hallway out of this that leads up to the living room that will be covered with it, creating the feel of being inside a tent. Lights and candles will be behind them to create a nice atmospheric lighting solution.
Some pillows on the ground with a low table, dinner and some wine. What do you think?
Any other ideas for a low budget valentines day?

Sounds like a good idea, first thing first, make sure you turn off the phone.
It would be that extra special of you cooked the whole dinner yourself, a real plus if the meal was light to the point where you can use your fingers and feed each other. Don’t forget you want to set the mood as a camping feel so you won’t exactly be sitting there cutting up a steak for dinner, make the meal light and airy but not necessarily “camping food” but marshmallows are always good. You don’t want to be too full for later on when it’s dessert time.
You want to reach all her five senses, depending how much you want to make it romantic you can buy a nature nightlife CD and play it in the background(go surround sound), something soothing and relaxing.
Go all candles, non-scented, you don’t want to be choking on the overwhelming scent of the candle when you want to get close. If you think scents will help, Vanilla and Licorice are great choices, women tend to love the smell of these two plus Licorice helps the blood flow to those intense organs, the scent of Vanilla is calming to her, Licorice to get her into the mood but if you have been with her long enough you should know what scents get her going, most likely it will already be the cologne your wearing.
It’s all about the details; get a sleeping bag to put on the floor, a battery power lantern if you need it, maybe a little radio set to a romantic radio station.
Another hit is if you can get a CD with the sound of Rain hitting the tent, after the meal you can just laid back with her in your arms and let the soothing sound bring you closer.
Hope some of these tips help, trigger all her senses the best you can and have fun on Feb 14th.

I wish I could do those things... Oh well, at least I experienced all that before. Hope you have a great time! These will be part of your greatest days. Live them and enjoy!
