My situation goes like so, I am a son of a diplomat and on my passport it states that I am a dependent on my mother who is a diplomat. I was wondering if it was possible if I can be a american citizen,or change me current status so that I can join the navy,or at the very least file for a petition? My purpose in doing so I hope to join the navy of marines. Please help me out.

Not as a family member of diplomat... you must be qualified and not hold diplomat passport.

Would it be possible if I change me passport to a non-diplomatic one?

It's not about passport...

An alien born in the U.S. to diplomat parents is not a U.S. Citizen. You would be eligible for residency in the same manner that someone who was not born to a diplomat is eligible. You must have a qualifying relative and be petitioned, or be petitioned through employment.
