On my w2 form in section 14 other it says cafeteria $2957. What does this mean?

Box 14 is often used to give the employee information about benefits the give, or deductions that have been made from your pay. My guess is that "cafeteria" refers to your benefit plan at work, and that the company gives you choices for health care, dental, life insurance, or other benefits that the company will pay for. This is often called a "cafeteria" plan because you can pick and chose which specific benefits you want. So I think this is saying that the company contributed $2957 toward your benefits under their cafeteria plan. This is NOT reportable on your tax return, so you can just ignore it.
