View Full Version : Just replaced switch on deep well pump worked for awhile but now I have no water

Not sure how old pump is but this would be the 2nd time I replaced the switch on this pump after losing power and water to it . At first it did work for awhile but dept clicking clickin clickin. Water pressure wasn't very good anyway. Not much money frustrated.

Is it a submersible or in the basement?
Have you checked for prime?

Why did you replace the switch? Was the old one doing the same thing as this one?
You would want to check for a waterlogged tank. Do do that, simply depress the air valve at the top of the tank for a few seconds. If water comes out, then that is bad.
