I am remodeling my bathroom and in the process changing all the electric. Right now the bathroom is fed from a single line connected to a 15 amp circuit breaker. This feeds into a metal junctrion box in the attic. When rwiring is it legal to split that feed into the 3-4 runs I need for the bathroom? I am planing on a vanity light with switch, 1 receptical, 3 recessed lights, and a vent/light. Also I am putting one of the recessed lights over the shower, will anything special need to happen with that?

Yes, but the junction box will need to be large enough to contain all the wires. There are extension rings/boxes for most types of boxes to add volume to a junction box.



Also I am putting one of the recessed lights over the shower, will anything special need to hapen with that?

Check the manufacturers datasheet or instructions, as most will require GFI protection of the fixture if located in a shower.

Keep in mind that the Code has been for several years that a bathroom requires a 20 amp circuit with #12 wire for the receptacle. This circuit can provide power for the receptacle and any light and fan in that one bathroom only.
