Posted last week finally got new coil in mail. Installed new coil and I have plenty of spark now, but it still won't start.New plugs and wires.Took plugs out wet with gas. Blew out with air and reinstalled still no start sometimes it seems like it is trying to fire up a little.

I charged up my battery and gave it another shot and it finally started. The build up of gas must have made it hard to start after all the attempts before replacing coil.

Once again, the old coil tested as fine but did not work.

My 1992 DX is doing the same thing, replaced dist. cap/rotor/ignition coil, now sparks & cranks but will not turn over. Could be my attempts at starting it too have caused a build up of gas.

How did you clear the gas out of yours? Or was it just luck that the time it took charging the battery helped it start?
