I have a sharp pain on the outside of my right foot. It starts from just behind the left little toe back to just before the hill. It feels like a cramp or like someone is sticking a hot knife into my foot and it intensifies if I move my foot around. Any idea what it could be?

You could have a break. Did you hit it recently or land funny in that area? Also if the pain is severe then your most likely going to need an x-ray because you also could have an object imbedded and it has now moved.

I just got back from my doctor with the same symptoms your described. The pain is not always there but it feels like a sharp cramp or like someone is jabbin' me with a knife in the side of my right foot. It's very painful. I'm even having' trouble walking. My doctor is sending me for X-rays so I'm hoping that nothing is broken or cracked...
