About how much can I expect my boyfriend to receive in his refund if he claims myself and our daughter. He made roughly around $9500 in 2009. And I only worked the first two weeks in January. Thank you!

I assume you BOTH lived with him the entire year. If so, then he CAN claim your as dependents.
If so, he can claim. If not, he cannot! It is THAT simple.
Now, he will NOT be able to use the dependency claims for the purposes of getting either the $1,000 Child Tax Credit nor the Earned Income Credit. To claim either credit, your daughter has to be related to him by blood (he must be the biological father) or by marriage.
To claim otherwise is tax fraud!

Thank you, she is his biological daughter and yes we co-habitate. But yes we did our taxes today and he did not claim me as it made no difference. We ended up getting $5000. Thank you for your time!
