Did you take the test with your first mornings urine? The hormone concentration is the highest in the mornign so I suggest you take another test right when you wake up in the morning, you very well could be pregnant and it just is to early for the result to come out, if this happens again with the fain line, call and set up an appointment with your gyn and have them test you

If you're unsure, make an appointment with your doctor or visit a health clinic in your area. They can help.

Unfortunately, we can't tell you if you're pregnant or not, all we can do is advise you to visit a professional.

Best of luck.

You have to read the test within the time limit prescribed, usually 5 minutes. If you read the test past that time you will get what is called an evaporation line which will be a false positive or a false negative.

Try taking the test again tomorrow morning and reading the results within the first 5 minutes, no longer than that.

The positive line showed up in the time frame of the test I sat there and watched the test from the time I dipped in the cup of urine until it was dry then after that the line was gone this is why I am so confused because it showed a positive within the first 2 to 4 minutes

EPT makes a nice digital pregnancy test. There is no lines, just either pregnant or not pregnant. When I took my first test, it showed a faint line and of course it left me confused. That is when I discovered the digital test.

I would retake in the A.M. and if you are able to get a digital test, it's less confusing.

Good luck!
