I currently have an NQ-type Square D panelboard with a 400 A main breaker. I need to get ahold of 3 pole 225 amp circuit breakers for an upcoming project. I need the circuit breakers to be either QO or QOB type (plug-on or bolt-on). I need to know if these are manufactured, and if so I would like to know where I might be able to order them.

Where are you located?
The first place I would try is an authorized Square D dealer supply house.

I am Currently in South Korea, so stateside assistance is difficult to come by here. The best I can do is order off a website.

Looking at the catalog for QO breakers, found at Square D Products - Schneider Electric United States (http://www.squared.com:)

http://static.schneider-electric.us/docs/Circuit%20Protection/Miniature%20Circuit%20Breakers/QO-QOB%20Circuit%20Breakers/0730CT9801R108.pdf

You will see that QO and QOB does not come in a 225 amp frame or trip.

Here is the manual for the NQ panelboard. http://static.schneider-electric.us/docs/Electrical%20Distribution/Panelboards/NQ%20Lighting%20and%20Appliance%20Branch-Circuit%20Panelboards/1640CT0801.pdf
.
Breakers are restricted to 125 A

Sub feed lugs are field installable though.

Largest is QOB3150VH 3 pole 150 amp. This takes up six spaces and should cost about $1,100. Yikes!
