PLEASE HELP!! I am connecting a new ceiling fan.. but it has a remote. So it looks so much complicated. I would like to connect the red wire so it can have the same function as my old one.. but where to I connect it to? There is a blue, orange, white, and black wire that goes to the fan itself... WHAT WIRE GOES TO THE RED WIRE??

Jez! That sounds like you need an electrician if ever I heard of it!

Did the remote come with the fan? Usually the wires from the remote are color coded and they match the wires from the fan. If the colors do not match you may need a different remote.
