I received this court summons charging me and my husband for Texas code 25.093 Parent Contributing to Non-Attendance for which we are innocent because I did not received the warning and I sent email to the Coach that she is unable to attend tennis practice on Tuesday due to lack of transportation. And since no response was received from the coach we assumed it was OK. Unitl we received this Court Summons. Any advice.

Does it say exactly what you are accused of having done? I find it hard to believe that missing tennis practice is considered truancy.
Do what the summons tells you to do. File a written response (if one is expected), show up in court when you are supposed to, and tell the judge your story. You also might consider getting an attorney to speak to the prosecutor about dropping the charges.

Your child my be a truant and you are not aware of this. Just missing tennis practice sounds like it would not fall under the purview of getting a court notice. I've read about Texas getting tough about truancy. Best to have your child come clean now before any court appearances.

This would not be from merely missing one tennis practice, You need to go to the school and see how many actual days of school the child has missed.
Do you watch him catch a bus, drive him to school or what ?
But now you go to court
