Dear Sir Madam,

I worked in dubai for two years and my contract is unlimited. I went in the Philippines for vacation, after coming back in the Philippines I decided to resign due to some personal reason. I submitted my resignation through email and my boss accepted my resignation by replying me through email that he already accepted my resignation and instructed me to send my passport enable them to cancel my residence visa. But after he received my passport his purposely delaying the cancelletion of my visa and retaining my passport for so long without any improvement. Its too much hard for me to file a complain personally against my boss, as I'm already here in the Philippines. In this regard please help me in this matter. Can your department be a middle man so that my boss will not delay it.

Thank you & best regards,

Jenny

I see no reason he had to have your passport, merely go to the embassy of your nation near you and apply for a replacement.

So the visa remains open, you merely don't have to use that visa

Apply for a new passport... the old visa is revoked upon termination of your employment, so it's no longer valid.

I went in the philippines for vacation but after coming back in the philippines I decided to resign through email and my boss accepted it through email also. Until I discovered that he put me an immigration band. If i have immigration band when it will start?from the date of cancellation or from the date of exit?please advise... thank you... And is there any way to remove my band as I know that I properly resigned from that company.

Please ask each question once and give all details - I have asked that this be combined with your other post.
