Really stoked that it arrived in 2 days... then I boot it up and what do I see? (attached)

(I put a white background on screen)

How does this even get past quality control?
I've already contacted my point of sale for an RMA, but should I contact Acer about this also? I know at the companies I've worked at we'd want to know about quality control issues - but I guess acer is a different fish in terms of volume.
I'm right that it's a problem on acer's end rather than my point of sale?

Any advice?

it could be different things.
The shipping process could have rattled it around enough to mess up the screen components. I would just call and raise a little cain! ^^

I don't think it was your fault in any way.
I would say it got past inspection or just the shipping process hurt it.
