I have a Hyundai Elantra 2000 and my car will shut down when I'm sitting long at a stop light. It'll take me 5 minutes to turn the car back on and then I'll start driving down the road. At some point the car will feel like it shut down but the pannel lights are still off. I would give it gas but on a straight away it still wouldn't excellerate. Yes the check engine light is one but its been on for a couple of months now and the car was running good until now. Also I don't have a gas cap so I'm thinking that might be the problem. I have 3 codes on my car... and that is P0455 P0442 and P0335.

The P0335 relates to the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP) and that is likely your car's problem with shutting off. The other two codes address Evap emissions but don't usually cause a stalling symptom.
Have that P0335 properly diagnosed to see if it's the CKP, it's circuit or the ECM itself.
