Me and my exhusband are going through a custody battle. In fl can I get visitation stopped because of his violent history? He has been jailed for this also

Unless there is a reason not to, he is likely to get joint custody, if he lives in a nar by area.

Is his violent hisory documented, police reports and more, what was he in jail for.

And how long ago was all of it, remember moms get out of jail and get children back all the time.

If you can prove he is a risk, he may be ordered to supervised visits and counseling until he proves he is not a threat

Yes they are documented. I have an order of protection for myself and son. He got out of jail about 2 years ago for domestic battery but the judge lowered his charge to being drunk in public. He has caused damage at both mine and his mothers home(she thinks my son is hers so she won't admit this)
