For 18 years? Where you aware of the warnings? They have been included on cigarette packages for more than 18 years.

Did any tobacco company force you to smoke?

What possible cause of action do you think you might have?

You smoked for l8 years and ignored the warnings, and there were plenty of them. It is not entirely the tobacco industry's fault that you have Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease now.

Hello snow:

You sue by hiring a lawyer.

That's IF you can find a lawyer willing to take a case that will most likely go nowhere.

If he's looking for the tobacco companies to pay for him getting sick, I doubt he has enough money to pay a lawyer.

If you have the money to sue them, go for it, there are warning labels today because of people who sued in the past. You need to shut them down, how dare they force you to buy and smoke their products and not tell you how bad they are for you.

As long as you have a large enough pocket book to write a check for the attorney, go for it

There are law firms handling these on a class action basis. They advertise on TV.

Unless the companies forced you to smoke and you never saw/heard the warnings, I see no case.

A friend of mine had a kidney removed due to cancer from smoking. He retained an Attorney, spent a lot of money - and lost the case. No one forced him to smoke and he ignored the warnings.

In light of your other threads:

This sounds like some idea you cooked up to "get rich quick."

If you have this many other legal problems, I highly doubt you can afford an attorney to waste time on something as frivolous as suing a tobacco company.

Also, how did you get your probation officer to consent to you moving to Ohio in less than 3 months? Or is that why you "believe" there's a warrant for your arrest in Texas?
