I have a Trane xe80 furnace. Last night I noticed the blower wasn't shutting off. I reset the thermostat. The blower stays on and the burners ignite for 2 seconds and turn off. This repeats over and over. Can anyone help with this, as it is very cold in Missouri right now. Also the red light continuously blinks on and off. Thanks.

No. I'm not familiar with the location of the flame sensor.

Have you got your owners manual? Look to see if there is a diagram, if not most furnaces have a diagram / map-like drawing pasted to the inside of the door/cover

I have a Trane xe80 furnace. Last night I noticed the blower was not shutting off. The burner ignite fine. Burners then turns off, and the blower seems to keep running at high speed for five to ten minutes then takes down the circuit breaker on my electrical box. It keeps doing the same thing over and over if I reset the circuit breaker... Can anyone help with this problem? Thanks.
