Hello everyone, recently I want to change my look a little and grow some side burns but I can't grow it for some reason. I don't have have a problem growing a mustache or a beard but for some reason I can't grow the sideburns I want from my hair to my beard. Is it possible to grow one? Thanks.

Hi, noplacelikehome!

As far as growing facial hair is concerned, growing it on the sides of the face can sometimes take more time than growing it for a beard and/or moustache.

How long have you been trying to grow sideburns, please?

Thanks!

Well I'm in my early 20's and I still haven't grew any yet.

I'm 53 and have a full beard and moustache. It took me a number of months to grow them. The sideburn areas still don't have all that much hair, but they're okay.

I will say, that as I've grown older, that the ability to grow facial hair has seemed to increase.

If you just give yourself time, I think that you'll see an increase in your ability to grow facial hair, but that might not happen for a number of years.
