Hi... I was wondering if there were any legal experts here? I have tried to get advice but it looks like I get 50/50 when I contact different lawyers. Anyway, I was discharged from Ch. 7 bankruptcy back in March of 2003. I was just wondering when it comes off your credit report. I thought it was 7 years but then I heard from a lawyer it was 10 but he confused me because he said the laws changed in 2005 to make it 10 yrs before bankruptcy came off my credit report. If it was 2005, aren't I grandfathered in under old law since I was discharged in 2003? Please help, thank you.
