I had court in Florida, I lost, and the judgement was terrible- visitation limited to an island, basically a trap. High support payments which I could never afford. The child was already moved away to a foreign country- I love the child to death and miss her. I moved to a neighboring country just over the border and tried to see her, and to prove the moms lies. I was chased and harassed (video proof) and was alienated from my child to immeasurable proportions. I lost everything, and ended up sleeping on borrowed sofas and begging food.
Since we live outside the state- outside the USA for that matter, and have done so since before the order was even signed, where is jurisdiction? They just started on me about back support, and I still have not seen my child or even began to afford a fight. I'm an excellent dad, the mother was jealous that I had such a great relationship with my daughter. Drug free, no alcohol, don't even smoke cigs, just love being a dad.
I try to make sense of it all. I have PTSD, this is 5 years old, my daughter is now 9. I haven't slept a full night in 5 years. Where do I go for this to end without breaking the law. I have no money. I'm better to be dead.

First off we need to know where your at now. If you have been out of the country for 5 years and so has the child then you may end up in the court system where you currently live. What is your status in that country and what is the status of your daughter ?

My daughter was taken to Lithuania, I'm holed up in Poland. I had a resident visa for a year, shortly after arriving. I'm now married to a girl here, and she's getting me another visa. I'll never see my daughter again after what the court did in Florida. I'm trying to get back on my feet. Attorneys in USA all want a 20K retainer when they read this mess, to get involved.

The Embassy was of no help. The State Dept warned me that if she was taken away, I'd have problems- they have a child welfare specialist for that region and she said its over and done the minute she gets on a plane.

My issue at the moment, is that I have a huge bill for back child support, which I could never afford in the first place. I had friends of mine go to the mother and offer her $100 a month- better than most in that region, and she refused it- said "I prefer to put him in jail than to take such small money"

I've not been served, I don't live in Florida, and haven't lived there for a long time. How can I get out of going to jail or being wanted or never being able to return without facing jail? They wanted 1000 a month plus about 30K in attorneys fees. I'll never have close to that.

I would try in Lithuania, but its dangerous, they chased me and had some bad people following me every time I was there before. It costs less than $500 to have someone killed in these places. I can see heading into court and being shot- its not abnormal. When I tell these things to an attorney in the US, they say its impossible, I'm dreaming, I'm making it up. Its 100% true, and I made video of one of the chases- 180KM and hour for about 100KM(60 miles).

How can I get Florida off my back?

Thanks, that's true, but Florida is filing motions to intervene, and will probably charge me criminally. That's what I want to avoid...
