I am having tile put down and the tile guy moved the stove to tile under it. I used the stove yesterday morning. He tiled under the stove and put it back - unplugged. I went to plug it in this morning and it keeps tripping the circuit breaker. I unplugged the stove and flipped the breaker and the breaker is fine. I notice there was a chain attached to the stove but it is now unattached - would that have something to do with the tripping of the breaker?

I am not sure what the chain is for, but seems the cable or cord on the oven has been disturbed to the point there is a short, either in the cord or at the terminals or splices.

The cord should end at a junction box where there is terminals or splices, tis can be opened to allow a visual inspection for a short, or there is a slim chance there is now a short in the cord, and will need replacing.
