I am not sure if I have to issue 1099 form to the following businesses to whom I made payments above $600 in 2009 for their services & products to my corporation:

1. Freightquote.com (an huge online freight company)
2. a Customs Brokerage company
3. Labor Ready (a large temporary worker supplier)
4. Luxor (a furniture importer and manufacturer)

It is not clear to me if only healthcare and medical corporations should receive the 1099, but all other not.

Thanks in advance!

The general rule is that corporation-to-corporation transactions are NOT reported using Form 1099-MISC.

It isn't just about being a corporation. There are certain things which are exempt from this... freight, telephone, products, etc. I think 3 of the 4 things you listed in your other post are exempt. (And can you please not double-post like that.) It's in the instructions:

Morgaine,

Thank you for your reply. Also, I did not double-post. This is the original post.
