My spreadsheet if full. I have 3000 fields full in one row. I need to delete and limit the characters to 31. I have tried using the validating button with no success. Any suggestions?

Fields? Are you sure it's a spreadsheet? As far as I know, Excel only goes out to FF, which is 676 cells per row. Somehow I think you mean something besides what you're saying.
