In 2006 I was charged with violating and order of protection. I was placed on unsupervised probation and ordered to complete 32 DV classes. Then in 2007 I was also charged with violating a protection order and sentenced to 5 days in jail, unsupervised probation and another 32 classes. I knew that this new charge was going to violate my original unsupervised probation so I did the most irresponsable thing possible and just went under the radar. Now in January, over three years later, I was arrested and am facing court on the 26th for three counts of violating unsupervised probation - one for the similar charge and one each for the two DV classes I never completed. Do you think there is any chance of suspended sentance/supervised probation or any other alternative to jail time? I haven't had any new charges in years, and in the interviening time I've gotten married, bought a house, have a newborn and am active in AA - so I'm 100% sober. I think I'm screwed, but I'm hoping that this does not destroy my now-meaningful life.
