Have you searched in the phone book for a furniture store that sells by consignment?

Have you tried Craigslist?

there are, at least in my area "thrift" or used funiture stores that buy and sell. You can expect to get about 1/2 of the current used value at most. Since the store has to sell and make a profit.

You can try and sell it on craigs list or one of the dozens of other for sale sites

put a ad up at local laundry mats or grocery stores if they allow that

Some used furniture stores might be willing to sell what you have on a consignment basis for you. Doing it that way has already been mentioned.
