I just bought a set of skullcandy earbuds for my Ipod Classic 160 gb. When I play music, it works fine, when I go to watch movies, there is only sound from one side of my earbuds. This the second pair I've tried in 24 hrs. HELP! I've messed around with the eq settings, that's how I got the music to work correctly but no luck with movies. Thanks for any help.

Sounds like you have eliminated the ear buds and hardware form the equation because you have both sides working for music. Reloading the software would appear to be the next step here is a link (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1339?viewlocale=en_US) to the instructions from Apple.
Update itunes and sync before you start.
