How many hours per visit and how many visits per week or month should be provided to the non-custodial parent when the courts have ordered only supervised visitations. And is it really in the best interest of aan 8 month old to have visitation at all if she is not mentally stable?

Where is the supervised visits at

And who is doing the supervised visits.

At the home of the mother with the mother there is about the worst place, since the mom and dad normally end up fighting, not child visiting.

And there is no set hours it is what they can agree to

Most supervised visits are in public place and one with my brother was at her apt. 3 Female friends and my brother are doing the supervised visits. Guardian Ad Litem appointed by the Judge has asked that I provide them twice a week if at all possible and 2 hrs each visit. My problem is that she is mentally unstable and is this really good for an 8 month old child.

And that is why it is supervised visits, and the "friends" are to report any problems with the visit and never ever let the parent alone with the child.

Here in Atlanta we even have specific companies that do the visits, with play rooms and more, there professionals do reports about each visit.

And remember their goal from this, prove they are not a danger so they can get unspervised down the road.
That is why who ever is supervising has to be unrelated to either side so they can be fair and impartial
