My car has about 166,000 miles on it. In the last few months, it has been occasionally missing at highway speeds, for a second here and there, then runs fine. The other night, it totally quit running when I was going 50 mph, temporarily restarted and I got 50 more feet, then totally died. We tried restarting it after 1/2 hour in cold weather but it wouldn't start, just turned over. We had it towed to garage, and it started for them the next morning and ran without problem. They found no error codes and think it is the distributor. I am thinking something fuel related, fuel pump? What should I have them look for? Thanks.
