OK Kiss, I know you know better, but your answer is confusing, to me anyway, therefore I will have to assume others will be confused also:

The 20 A breaker tripped because of a short.
Exceeding ampacity (capacity) of a circuit will trip a circuit breaker, and a short circuit will trip a breaker.

Yep. Just defined it and gave example but the example wasn't comprehensive.
