I'm 20 years old my girlfriend is going to be 19 in march... we just found out we are going to have a baby.. she's still a senior in high school I graduated 3 years ago.. we are financially unfit to have this baby that and we don't live together she doesn't have a job because she's in school and then going to college.. I really don't want to rely on my our parents to take care of this child.. what do I do? What's the best way to raise a child when your not living together only making 400 dollars a week. My car broke down recently she doesn't have one.. I can't afford one... let alone a kid.. I don't know what to do.. we aren't lookind at abortion or adoption.. because one she already had an abortion and that really hurt her and me to see how much it hurt her.. and I wouldn't ever give a kid that I produced up for adoption.. any suggestions for me? Lol

There are open adoptions. They don't just take your baby away and you never see it again.

One of you are going to have to make the sacrifice if your going to keep the baby. Whether it's her forgetting about going to college for the next couple years and raise a baby and get a part time job. OR you get a good paying job or two jobs to support your girlfriend and child.

Don't even think about getting social assistance. You did not need any assistance impregnating her.

Time to buck up. A baby is coming and you guys will either have to sacrifice your dreams or send the baby off to loving parents that are prepared for a child and be able to give the child everything it needs.

If you decide to keep the baby, you will simply have to rely on some parental assistance so hopefully you will share the news with both sets of parents as soon as possible. Most likely they will be disappointed as it is probably not what they envisioned for either of you, but odds are they will come around and want to help.
If your girlfriend wants to attend college there are many opportunities to do so online these days.
As the others have said, it will take some sacrificing, but it can be done if you are willing to alter some plans.
