My house was sold last October 2009, new county records shows new owner as Grantee, and my name as Grantor. Why does my name shows as Grantor? Or why does my name shows at all?

Those are not names, rather they are titles of your position in the sale. Its like customer and vendor. Why does your name show at all, you were apparently the legal owner of record and your name is recorded on the deed
