We have a 1991 Honda CRX-the key keeps gettting stuck in the ignition. The dealership wants $300 just for a new ignition switch. What could be causing this? Easiest fix? Thanks

It's the steering lock, not the ignition electrical switch and harness, that needs replacing. Get other estimates for just replacing the steering lock--it should be cheaper. Check a used auto parts outfit for the lock; you may have to buy 2 new shear bolts.

I did call them back after doing some research to find out if I need the whole ignition lock assembly (doubt it) or if we can replace the ignition lock cylinder (which is $40-$50 bucks). Thanks for the help
