I have the same teen story. I like this guy and I don't know if he likes me. But the problem is he gives me thee signals... he loves to cuddle me.. always gives me these long kisses... when I lean my head on him he leans his on mine.. its this type of stuff. We have real good chemistry and the messages he sends me... I just melt. I try not to make it to obvius that I like him but I don't know. And all my friends tell us we should go out together but we don't reply.. we just smile back. I don't know if he likes more or if he's just being playful. I need help because I really like him. The other problem is that I'm 16 and never kissed a guy! And so I'm scared that if he likes me and we actually come to the kissing part I won't be a good kisser and embarrass myself. He has kissed a lot of girls cause he's been in realtionships before. It seems I'm the problem.
It sounds really foolish and imature. But its like we're a couple but then we're not. He doesn't act like this with everyone. Mostly with me.

Hon, you're cuddling, kissing, and affectionately touching a boy... doesn't that mean that you're already dating him?
With a friend like you, why does he need a girlfriend?
Why not save the cuddling, kissing, and touching for your boyfriend and not be so affectionate with "friends." You'll get a reputation as a girl that kisses without commitment.
You don't want that OR deserve to be used!

I would just take the chance, just try not to get obsessed with him.

I still stand by what I said, save all that stuff for when you get a boyfriend.
Ask this boy if he likes you. What's the harm in that?

You have to decide if you want to just stay friends and pine away for him secretly, or ask him if he wants more.

You know, next time you're with him, you could just say something like, "Hey, why don't you have a girlfriend?"
And see what he says! You don't have to "ask him out" persay, but just open the conversation... never know!

I've been around long enough to know how to ask without asking! ;)
All you have to do is be honest. Ask him why and see what he says. Don't push, don't get giggly, just be yourself... never know! He could say, "Because I want YOU as my girlfriend!" :)
Best of luck - keep me posted.

You need to tell him you have feelings for him, and then ask him if he does for you. If he does, ask him out, you need to be assertive. It's a risk, but it might be worth taking. He'll say yes, I promise you. Once you start going out try not to become into a relationship that is just physical, because right now that is exactly what it sounds like. Reserve yourself a little more, and he will accept and respect your boundries. And one you finally kiss, save it for as long as you can, it is well worth it. You won't even worry if you are a bad kisser, it comes naturally. Save your saliva for YOU to swallow and don't throat him. Just a little flick of the tip of your tongue is magical. Don't do it anywhere private, you might get carried away and regret something. It'll work out for you, he likes you so don't even worry about that. Just ask him. Good luck! :) It takes a leap for you to get caught.
