I have a single handle faucet in out kitchen. When turned to the hot water, my pressure is fine, but when turned to the cold, the pressure is low. I have another sink in the kitchen, but there is no problem with water pressure for the cold water. This drop in pressure for the cold water seems to have occurred immediately after we drained our hot water tank lasat weekend. Any ideas?

Hi jb. sounds like you may posably have debre in the cold water supply line. To try to clear the waterline turn off the valve to the cold water supply to the faucet, then take a small container and place it under the valve to catch water. Disconnect the supplyline from the valve and put one hand over the valve to kind of cup over it and with the other hand slowly turn on the cold water valve to see if you have full pressure up to the valve, once you verify that you do or don't have good pressure shut valve off. If you do have good pressure up to the valve then take the supplyline and hold it into the container and have someone help you if you can't reach the faucet handle, turn the faucet on and set it to the middle to allow the hot side bypass into the cold side and hopefully blow any debre out through the cold supplyline into the container. If you do not have good pressure at the valve then it may take a plumber to help trouble shoot the problem. Hope I helped you. Goodluck! ----zeke----
