You can have him tested as well to prove that he did give it to you.

The only think is any result can come back as having herpes even if you have a canker sore- that was what I was told when I was tested- luckily it wasn't herpes. But he should be tested- he can deny all he wants because even if by the slimest chance he did not give it to you- he has it now most likely because you have it

The test will not show herpes if it isn't herpes - canker sores don't test as herpes.

To OP - what would you like to do about the situation? Short of divorcing him and using Herpes as the grounds (which may or may not be acceptable to the Court) there is little you can do legally. What are your thoughts?

Find the other woman? Punish him? As someone else said - he will claim you gave it to him (if that is his mind set right now).

I'd be livid - and I'm sure you are, too.

Cold sores are very common and are caused by the herpes simplex virus. The most common form of cold sores is HSV-1 (oral herpes). NOW this is not always a sexually transmitted form of herpes. Some people call these fever blisters as well.

You can read all about it here. Cold Sores Overview: Cold Sores Symptoms, Diagnosis, Treatment and Prevention of Cold Sores (http://www.webmd.com/skin-problems-and-treatments/tc/cold-sores-topic-overview)

Wait a minute! My post was pulled for "alias abuse." I'm the one who responded to her question and asked if she's the same person!

That sounds like I'm using an assumed name, too.

Umm, Judy, not all members can see that. Now, it was pulled only because you called her on it. We pulled her post, so we pulled yours as well. I do that even to myself sometimes.
