First off the gas station may have been shut down due to the gas tanks in the ground needed changed out and the owner didn't have the thousands and thousands of dollars it would cost to have the tanks properly upgraded. Secondly, the station may have gone out of business due to lack of customers or the owner not making enough profit to keep the station open. If you know virtually nothing about running a gas station and what it entails financially may I suggest that you take a job at a station and see just how it is run before jumping off the deep end and try to operate one.

Well first why is or was it shut down, if it has underground tanks are they good. Is the station for sale or for lease.

And to be honest it is going to be in the 100's of thousands of dollars to normally get a contract, secure a location, show them you are $$$$ secure enough for them to do business, buy your opening stock, including gas, and so on.

So finding the money backing is the main issue

Please don't ask the same question more than once, some answers have been lost in attempting to merge them
