I'm 12 years old and I want a "scene" look I want it jet blaack but if it doesn't work out I would like to turn it back to my natural light brown hair also if I'm going for a "scene" look what is the best way to cut it

I don't want to sound mean or anything but have you asked your mom if it's OK to dye your hair black?

My mom would have killed me if I dyed my hair when I was 12! :eek:

When getting the scene look, you need to get it layered, get a picture of someone with that type of hair, and show it to the girl cutting it... I did that *cut not color* a few months ago, But the mistake I made was not telling her I wanted my bangs "Sideswept", "Nosebridge length", and "Covering one eye *Left or Right*"... If you don't want the bangs, then nevermind:)... ALSO!. Go to hot topic, CVS, etc.. And find a Temporary Comb In/Washout/Spray in Color *any will work*, that way you can test it and see if you like it first without damaging your hair... I tried that with jet black and It wasn't very flattering... I would say go with brunette on top, and black on the bottom, it looks REALLY cool... But please be sure to ask your parent first... 12 Isn't really an age where you should just be making decisions by yourself;)...
