Every women is different, but for me,I was very sensitive for a long time after giving birth..
It's a big life change,even after a second baby.
You have to find a 'new normal',your dealing with loss of sleep,a new baby maybe trying to lose weight.
Your normal!
But,in saying all that,a lot of women have trouble adjusting and perhaps a word with your doctor will help put your mind at ease.

Don't worry, its definitely normal, especially if you are breastfeeding. When you breastfeed your body is still full of hormones that make you sometimes feel "not" normal. I am not an expert, trust me! But I have two children, both of them I breastfed. One for probably a little too long, and the second for about 7 months. You are making a great choice to nurse your baby, but it is hard on you, I understand!
Of course lack of sleep, losing weight, and just being a mother is difficult to deal with. So even if you weren't nursing you probably still wouldn't feel great yet. And don't forget enduring through pregnancy for 9 months was a task! Try to relax and know that your moods will level out. I agree that if you are still not feeling better you should speak with your doctor, and don't feel ashamed, everyone is different. Hey, I still feel that way sometimes and my youngest is two! :) Its always good to have people you can talk to, its good to know that other people feel or have felt just as emotional as you do. Life is not easy and now you are caring for a precious child. Just try to enjoy any moment you can, they grow up fast!
One more thought, usually around 4 months (or earlier) babies get colicky and fussy. They want to be able to do more things than their little bodies will let them! So, that may be making it a little harder for you to deal from day to day. Good luck!
