I am trying to connect the wire to the themostat but the wire has 1 thick copper wire and doesn't have many wire colors to hook up to themostats. Our landlord left without finishing the set up on our wall heater(gas) and expected us to do it ourseleves. I am having trouble finding a module diagram for Honeywell RTH2300. What do I do? Help we are cold in the house.

I am trying to change my intertherm analog stat to a honetwell rth2300. Can you help with the wiring? My main question is the intertherm has way more wires than the honeywell calls for. Such as W1, W2 and so on. The hoywell has O/B, Y, R, and G, W.
