Hey I have a Kenmore Elite Gas Dryer about 4 years old with a dial timer , it shuts down about every 4 minutes and sometimes stays a running through the full cycle. After it shuts down I can restart the dryer with no problem , the motor sounds good... Thanks for any help Joey

It sounds like something is causing the dryer to drop its holding circuit.
I would check for loose wires at any location, also check to make sure your door is closing properly, and that the door switch is actuating properly.

It may be a loose connection at the timer, start button, door switch, etc, any of those can cause a dryer to stop operating during a dry cycle.
