Now let me explain the situation.
I'm an American woman on a 6 month visit in canada with my boyfriend and his family who are Canadian Citizens.
Problem 1 - me and my boyfriend are expecting a child to be born roughly January 26th.
We have decided to have the baby in Canada seeing as
It's easier for the child to get dual Citizenship an health care here,
Rather then the united states.
After the child's born we plan to get an apartment an live together.
Unfortunately, my 6 months is up January 23rd. We are filing for an extension of the visitors thing for another 6 months.
We were told we have two options, either
One: for me to return to Usa after the extension an file for citizenship in usa, an return once its completed.
Or
Two: For me and my boyfriend to get married an have him sponsor me for citizenship.

Either way we * Don't * want to split our family apart especilly with our first child being so young,
My question is what is the best/quickest way for me to gain legal citizenship so we can keep our new family together?
And if you have an awnser to that,
How do we go about getting it completed ?

We've looked an researched online with both Usa & Canada sites,
And every time we are just ran around in circles or left with questions with no awnsers.

If you could please help us with this
I'll personally come over there an give you a big hug an kiss.

Well if you get married, he can sponsor you for a permanent resident. It's citizenship, but very similar. You can at least work and live here legally.

Here's information on applying.
Sponsoring your family: Spouses and dependent children - Who can apply (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse-apply-how.asp)

Thank you for the quick reply Sariss .
Any idea on how long that process would take?

Application Processing Times: Applications Processed in Canada (http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/information/times/canada/process-in.asp#sponsorship) will show you the application processing times.

No problem!
I'm sort of going through the same similar thing to you, except it's my significant other who is the American.
Good luck to you. :)
