How do I claim my daughter on my taxes? She lives in South Africa with her mother but I fully support her. I would have no opposition from her mother in this matter. I have school reciepts to support. I also have a bank card that thoughit is in my name it is used by them so that money is there for my daughter. I also am filing jointly for the first time with my currelt wife. I have filed and claimed my daughter for the past seven years with no problem. I am more so worried because I am going to be using a new CPA to clean up my situation as well as again I am filing jointly for the first time. How does this impact my daughter

Just list your daughter as a dependent. If the IRS questions it, you present your proof that you provide more than half the costs of her support.

I assume that your wife is NOT filing a U.S. tax return. If so, then claiming your daughter should not be a problem.
