Hello. I have a very old original oil by B. Major of boats in the water, which looks almost Asian.

On the back is a paper label
Publication of
Edward Gross co. Inc.
118 East 16th. Street
New York
Under is the G logo with the E and Co enclosed in it.
Writter by hand is Original Oil Painting by B. Major.
In the top right corner is a very small area where it looks like some painting has been
Removed and there is another painting under it.

I was wondering if you could give me any information on this piece?

I haven't found specific information about the work that you have. But, I do know that works of art published by the Edward Gross Co. New York, can be worth a fair amount of money.
