I cannot get into the residency training in US although I passed all USMLExams and have the EDFMG certificate. Can I use MD after my name in publishing or business card?

In the US you must have a license to practice medicine of any field. If you do practice with no license you can be prosecuted and spend some time in prison for it.

I think the question was whether she can put the letters MD on a business card, not about practicing medicine. I am guessing if you have an MD you should be able to put that after your name even if you are not licensed to practice.

I personally think that would be misleading. On a resume, where you can explain you are unlicensed, it seems more reasonable. Just my opinion.

Close call, I guess why are you going to use it, for what purpose, and what type of work are you doing.
