I recently stopped have a menstrual cycle in August 2009. I've also been taking the diet pill adapac and was wondering if that was the reason I stopped having menstrual cycles. My question is can a person still get pregnant without having a menstrual cycle?

Since each woman's menstrual cycle is unique, it is possible for a woman to become pregnant even if she does not have a regular menstrual period. Ovulation is the key. If you've ovulated since August, it is possible to become pregnant.

Also, I'd be pretty concerned about not having had your period for such a long time. If you haven't seen a doctor already, it would be wise. They can administer a pregnancy test (which you can also do yourself by purchasing one at a local drug store) and can write you a prescription for medicine that will induce your period - assuming you are not pregnant.

Hope this helps!

Yes you can still get pregnant, but it is a lot harder to figure most fertile times
