Hi,

I am hoping to get a tattoo soon in sanskrit with the phrase 'It is written.' I have used 3 different translators and have had different responses. I am keen to get the correct tattoo. Can anyone help me please and give me the correct translation.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Here is one I was given: लिखितमेतद्

Hi, moosmum!

Yes, it's definitely best to be getting more than one opinion concerning something that will be placed permanantely on your body!

drkpp is a member here who does translations professionally. Hopefully, drkpp will come along to address your question.

Thanks!

Meaning wise the translation is correct.
If you need a word to word literal translation,
तल्लिखितमस्ति

Hey, Great!

You finally got listed as an Expert, drkpp!

I've been hoping and working on that for some time, now...

Are you a male or female? I ask, because I would like to welcome you in the Experts forum topic area.

Thanks!

Hey,
I am also looking for a sanskrit translation but keep getting different ones, do you also know the sanskrit word for family?

I have a similar question.
I want the phrase 'radiance within' translated into sanskrit. I've found a few loose translations, mainly प्रत्यग्धामन् (pratyagdhaaman.) Does this look accurate to you? I want to confirm before I get a tattoo!

Hi drkpp, can you help mi please ? I would like to get a sanskrit tattoo with the meaning "one life one chance". Is this correct translation एकं जीवनम्, एकः अवसरः ? Thank you very much.
